Viewing your loved one

Our private chapel of rest is a peaceful, non-denominational space where you can spend time with your deceased loved one in the run up to the funeral, laying photographs or personal memorabilia as a sign of respect. Our chapel of rest is open to you between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm on weekdays, you may visit without a prior appointment. At weekends and early evenings, we insist you make an appointment if you wish to visit.

Many people may wish to place a personal item such as a piece of jewellery, a letter, card, picture, or favourite book with their loved one as a last act of respect and devotion. J T Byrne Funeral Directors encourages this thoughtful act, and are happy to help you honour your loved one in any way.

I wish you could give these more than 5 stars. They were absolutely fantastic. Couldn't be more caring and compassionate. They made the whole process with dealing with my father's funeral very straight forward. Also great support with funeral plans for the future. Thanks from my mother and myself to Mark at the Bispham branch and John.
